Milwaukee Moves Forward; Open Photo Shoot in Vegas TOMORROW!

Hello NOH8 Supporters!

We wanted to take an opportunity to remind all of you that we'll be hosting our first open photo shoot at Vegas Pride TOMORROW (Saturday). You can find all the details listed below. As an example of some of the ideas people have incorporated into their own NOH8 portraits, we also wanted to include our latest blog ("Milwaukee Moves Forward"), featuring highlights from our open photo shoot in Milwaukee last month.

NOTE: For any of you planning to attend the open photo shoot in Vegas tomorrow, we are looking for just a few more volunteers. If you're interested and available to help at Vegas Pride tomorrow, simply reply to this e-mail!

Thank you, and enjoy your weekend.

TEAM NOH8

On SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH the NOH8 Campaign will set up our studio at Las Vegas Pride in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- giving VEGAS locals a chance to participate in the NOH8 Campaign for the first time!

The photo shoot on SATURDAY is scheduled to begin at 2:00PM and end at 6:00PM. The photo shoot will take place at the CLARK COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER & AMPITHEATER in the PYRAMID building. The NOH8 Campaign photo shoot will take place during Pride but will NOT be outside.

Note that Adult Tickets to the Pride Festival are $15 for Adults (18+) and $10 for Youth (6-17). Children 5 and Under are free. These fees do not apply toward the cost of a NOH8 photo.

You do not need to make reservations; it's first come, first served! Facebook RSVP's just help us get an idea of the anticipated turn-out. When you arrive, you will receive a numbered model release to fill out, followed by receiving your NOH8 tattoo. We will call numbers throughout the day, and your corresponding release number will signal your time to line up to have your photo taken!

The costs of doing a NOH8 portrait break down as follows:

SOLO PORTRAITS .......... $40.00

COUPLE & GROUP PORTRAITS ........... $25.00 per person

The NOH8 Campaign accepts cash, most major credit cards, and checks made out to 'NOH8Campaign'. Fee covers services & processing for one retouched digital print only, made available through www.NOH8Campaign.com.

The lines moves quickly, so don't let the RSVP's intimidate you! We always do our best to make sure that everyone in line by 6 PM has a chance to pose for their photo - and up to this point, we haven't ever had to turn anyone away! Anyone that would like to join the NOH8 Campaign is asked to wear a plain white shirt to match the look of the signature NOH8 photos.

Celebrity Photographer & NOH8 Co-Founder Adam Bouska will be working around the clock to photograph 5-10 frames for each person that comes through. The final selection he chooses will be retouched and made available to you in about 8 weeks through the website:

www.NOH8Campaign.com

Make sure you come out to the Friday Night Pride Parade the night before, where Co-Founders Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley will be judging parade entries. The parade route begins at West Charleston Blvd. and heads north along 4th Street to Ogden Avenue. Secure your spot where the action happens early and show your support by wearing your NOH8 colors!

This includes bringing the campaign to other cities around the country, as well as compiling the images for a large-scale media campaign. MILWAUKEE MOVES FORWARD

Sometimes referred to as the City of Festivals, Milwaukee became the first city in Wisconsin to celebrate the NOH8 Campaign earlier this summer as we continued our ongoing tour across the nation. Wisconsinites lined up early to have the chance to take their own official NOH8 photo, and they didn't hesitate when it came to putting their own unique spin on the classic NOH8 set-up. We saw such spirited styling in Milwaukee, and it was great seeing how each person took a concept and made it their own!

Of course, a handful of supporters wanted to use iconic cheeseheads to represent their state. The local chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence even incorporated their cheeseheads seamlessly into their habits. Others were more subtle, wanting to feature their favorite local teams.

NOH8 Co-Founders Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley talk about the photo shoot on Milwaukee's Fox 6 Now Morning News.

The Pride Alliance from the University of Wisconsin - Waukesha set up a table at the photo shoot, taking the time to talk to people about their organization and the work they do at University of Wisconsin. We also had a number of talented musicians who wanted to channel their music in their portraits.

Team NOH8 would like to thank the InterContinental Hotel Milwaukee for their incredible hospitality, as well as Mario Lopez and his team at Z2 Marketing for really dedicating themselves to making this event a success and going above and beyond when necessary. We couldn't have done this without them, and we hope all of you appreciate their efforts to bring us to Milwaukee as much as we do!
