Gearing Up for a New Year

As we continue forward into 2011, our goal is to continue spreading the simple message of NOH8 anywhere and everywhere we can. Some of you may have noticed several open shoots have been announced so far this year, including our photoshoots in Atlanta and New Orleans over the past two weeks and our upcoming shoot in Minneapolis a few weeks from now. We're also getting involved with other important causes whenever we can, including starting our own Team for AIDS WALK NY.

We plan to visit more cities this year and hold more open shoots than we ever have before, and we're looking forward to offering as many people the opportunity to get involved through the NOH8 Campaign as humanly possible. Keep an eye on our site as we continue to update our schedule with even more dates!

In the meantime, we'd like to share a series of photo blogs featuring some of our favorite photos from open shoots we've held over the past few months. The NOH8 Campaign held a marathon of open shoots in the Fall of 2010 - one of which was hosted by the W Hollywood here in the campaign's hometown last November. Held only a few weeks after our Anti-Bullying PSA debuted in the midst of what seemed to be a rash of LGBT teen suicides, we had an incredible turn-out of over 500 people eager to show their support for their peers.

Being able to see so many of our fellow Los Angelinos continue to come out shoot after shoot is so inspiring to us, and we're glad to be able to kick off the new year with some of them!
