Daniel Dicriscio Takes a Stand

I posed for the NOH8 Campaign because I wanted to take a stand and make a difference on this subject. I liked the idea of a "silent protest;" usually one has to sign a petition with other causes, but this one you have to face up! To me, power in numbers is strongest, and seeing the faces - not signatures - makes this more powerful and gives more of a community feel. The "NOH8" tattoo and tape over the mouth is what really stands out; The Message!
Being denied rights etc. based on sexual orientation is not right to me. I don't know how many times I heard, "I hate gays," growing up, and even in present day. How can one "hate" or "deny" their sons, daughters, friends, co-workers, parents, or someone they don't even know because of a three letter word... "GAY."
