We are from Bangalore, our daughter was born there and the sex assigned to her at birth was male. Right from a very young age she was very comfortable with girls and would befriend them very easily and never liked to play any of the boy sports. But school became harder for her, even the teachers would discipline her and ask her not to play with girls. So we moved to California when she was 9 years old in order to provide a safe place for her mental well being. She finally transitioned when she was 15 and it has been a joyful journey for the entire family ever since.

Queer Goddess Tattoo Story
She likes drawing and painting. She painted the picture of Ardhanareeswara which is a Hindu Queer God/Goddess with half man's body and half female body. Her creation of Ardhanareeswarar consists of half of trans male and half of trans female.

Chromosome Tattoo Story
She also represented trans females symbolically using the shape of sex chromosomes. The outer circle of the tattoo is shown with XY chromosomes symbolically representing the male physical anatomy. Whereas the inner circle of the tattoo is shown with XX chromosomes symbolically representing the female soul within her like all other trans females.

I liked it and took it to a tattoo artist and got a tattoo of both on me.
