A Thank You from GLSEN Student Ambassador Benjamin O'Keefe
Friday, August 26th, 2011Words can not describe my sincere thanks towards the NOH8 Campaign.
One, for volunteering to come out and shoot myself and my coworkers at the GLSEN Media Summit. It was an incredible experience, and I am so honored to be a part of this incredible campaign. It is so great that GLSEN and the NOH8 Campaign were able to work together and hopefully there will be opportunity to work together again in the future.
Also, I would like to thank you for all the work you do for the LGBT community. You are helping to change the world, and making it an easier place for me and millions of other kids to grow up in a society where we are loved and there truly is less and less hate towards us every day.
Every one of my fellow ambassadors really wanted me to get this thank you letter to me as soon as possible! It really meant a lot to us and we hope you can extend our thanks to Adam and everyone else involved! I hope to work with the campaign again in the near future!!
